Person Description

Studied at Kihanga Boys’ Primary School likely to be circa 1946-1948.

 Proceeded to Kigezi High School, where he completed his secondary education in 1953.

He received his tertiary education at Kampala Technical Institute while working as a student teacher on a part-time basis.

During his lifelong career as an educator, he worked as a housemaster and teacher at Mbarara High School (circa 1959-1964); as a teacher at Mbale Technical School (circa 1964-1967); and as a teacher at Kichwamba Technical School (circa 1967-1970). 

In 1970, he travelled to the United Kingdom on a government scholarship to further his studies in Bristol, Somerset, Southwest England. He returned to Uganda in 1972, whereupon he was appointed a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at what was then called Uganda Technical College (later renamed Uganda Polytechnic, Kyambogo, and much later still, became part of Kyambogo University.)

He lectured at Uganda Technical College/Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo/Kyambogo University for 30+ years until his retirement in the early 2000s.
